Overhead Conductors
1. Application
The conductors are used in overhead power line. Overhead conductor covers a serious of conductors such as AAC(All Aluminium Conductor), ACSR(Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced ), AAAC(Aluminium Alloy Conductor ), BCC(Bare Copper Conductor), ACS(Aluminium Clad Steel Conductor).

AAC and ACSR have been widely used in power transmission lines with various voltage levels. They have such good characteristics as simple structure, convenient installation and maintenance, low cost for the line, large transmission capacity and are also suitable for laying across rivers and valleys where special geographical teatures exist.

The cables have excellent advantages of high strength, large current carrying capacity and good catenary property as well as wear-resistance, anti-crush and corrosion-froof with simple structure, convenient installation and maintenance, low cost for the line, large transmission capacity.

2. Specific Property for using

2.1 The permissible long-time operating temperature for aerial conductor is 70.
2.2 The circumstance that long distance rare climate and ice coverage rare occurring in heavy ice area, the most biggest stress of cable at the lowest arc downing point should not exceed 60% of the distructive power at a short time.
2.3 When connecting conductors, the conductor near to the connecting tube can`t be prominient. Otherwise, the force on the operating conductors will be unbalanced after connectors are pressed, the connecting tube should be plated ny moistureproof paint in order to protect from corroding.
2.4 Under installation, the arc downing stress of all the conductors at home distance ot the ground and across building can be 10-15% higher than regular tension.

3. Remarks
3.1 Any crush or bump should be avoided during handling and transportation of the product.
3.2 The cable drum is not allowed to be placed with one flange up and the other down during transportation and storage of the products.
3.2 A moisture-proof measure should be taken during storage of the product
3.4 Corrugated aluminium pipe busbar, made of aluminium wires or aluminium alloy wires stranded around aluminium pipe.
